Finally.....

Finally what?

Finally sick free from us. My whole family have been sick for two weeks.

Firstly, Albert started cough on his birthday which is on 9th Oct (Sun).

Secondly, Cody started to cough with phlegm on the 13th Oct (Thurs) in the morning.

And Delvin also cough with phlegm when I'm back from work the same day.

I brought Delvin to see doctor and gave him very mild cough syrup. As for Cody, he still has medicine.

On 15th Oct (Sat), Cody cough was not recovered and he was having flu too. I decided to bring him to KKH A&E.

On 16th Oct (Sun) morning, Delvin had difficult in breathing. Albert & I brought him to KKH A&E. Doctor listen to his lung & he need to do an x-ray. Delvin has a slight lung infection & diagnosed he has slight bronchiolitis. On the spot doctor gave him humidified oxygen.


After few doses, Delvin feeling better. We stayed there for 3 days (16th Oct to 19th Oct) & discharged :)


Lucky they recovered but my turn to fall sick :(

Cody fall sick

This is the first time that Cody got high fever. On Wednesday, 13th July, he woke up from his afternoon nap normally is 7pm plus. I just reached home and he saw me, he said he wants to continue sleep. I told him no problem. When I touched him, I felt so hot on his forehead.

I quickly took out the digital thermometer & measured his temperature. It's 38.9 degree. Wow, it's high fever. My mil & I brought him to the nearest PD.

The nurse gave him bullet (ibuprofen) on the spot while waiting for his turn to see doctor. Doctor gave him antibiotic, paracetamol, cough & flu medicines.

Cody temperature went down after half and hour.

The next day, he's fever still maintain on 39 ~ 40.4 degree :( We sponged, bath, fed 4 hourly paracetamol also no use.

Albert & I brought him to KKH about 11pm plus on 14th July. The doctor said he's fine only has high fever. It's maybe caused by viral illnesses or if fever still continue more than 5 days need to do blood test. That will be caused by dengue fever. The nurse fed Cody ibuprofen and need to monitor about one hour to see the temperature went down or not. Lucky fever went down a bit to 38.7 degree and he can go home :)

Doctor gave him two bottles of ibuprofen & two bottles of paracetamol.

The next day, Cody feeling better but the virus spread to my mil & me :( Both of us sick.

Sick again!

On Friday night 15th Oct, after work & I reached home. My mil told me that Cody was having fever. Oh dear.

After that his neck was so red & hot.

I brought Cody to see doctor on Saturday. Doctor said that he has throat infection & too heaty. Ask me to give him drink barley water. The problem is he don't like to drink :(

On Monday night 18th Oct, Cody started to cough & flu :S Headache!

Lucky he's better liao ;)

No more fever on Monday 18th Oct.
No more flu on Tuesday 19th Oct.
Left cough & phlegm not yet recovered :(

Sick

I have been sick for two weeks and not recovered yet :(

At first, I'm going to recover than my hubby caught a cold. He spread the virus to Cody & me. Now Albert has recovered.

Cody & I went to Polyclinic to see doctor on Saturday 25th Sep.

Cody had running nose & I had cough & flu.

I still not feeling well and see a doctor again on Monday. (Already consult doctor 3 times)

Hope we will recovered ASAP ;)

Fall sick :(

On Thursday night, I was feeling very cold & started to have fever.

Few symptoms

• Gastric pain (on Thursday)
  
• Diarrhoea about 5 times (on Wednesday)
• Giddy (on Friday)
  
• Fever (on Thursday night)
  

The next morning Friday, Albert accompany me to see doctor. Doc told me that I got gastric flu.

After two days of medicines. I can said I only recovered 50%. On & off still felt giddy.

Touch wood, I did not spread the virus to anyone at home.

3rd Times

Aiyo..... My Cody boy vomited in my brother car this time on sat, 30th Jan 2010 :(

I think can't fed him full when travel......

2nd times

Yesterday, my mom, Cody & I took bus to Bendemeer Road. We wanted to go Audio House to take a look at the fan & portable DVD player.

We are on the way to there. Cody asked me, are we going to get down of the bus soon? I thought maybe he feel tired so I told him you rest on mommy shoulder & will get down soon. He rested on my shoulder for quite sometime.

Later...... guess what happen!

He lifted up his head & the next moment he vomited. Than I know that Cody doesn't feel well when taking this bus.

He totally vomited four times!!!! My poor boy :(

[Remember that he vomited 1st time at my friend Eric's company car. This is the 2nd times. The bus keep jam break :S. I also felt giddy when took this bus.]

My back of the cloth & short are all wet & smelly. Lucky I told my mom to get down at my aunt place where she stays at Geylang Bahru. Few stop before the Audio House. If not, don't know what to do.

We went up to have a bath first before we go to Audio House.

Medicines for Cody

My parent in law brought Cody to see doctor today. Doctor prescribes five medicines to him. After work, I reached home. My mother-in-law told me that Cody got 5 medicines to take. I was kena shock :O Wow, so many medicines?

I looked through all the medicines.
-Cough
-Phlegm
-Antibiotic
-Flu
-Cough (Night feed only)

Poor Cody, he ate the medicines until so scare & vomited! He vomits the phlegm out too. That's good also but felt very poor thing.

Hope after few feeds will recover soon :)

My mom just called me. She told me that my nephew Gerald has discharged. Hooray, but hor........

Still haven't recover yet ;(
At least can go home to rest better to stay at hospital right ;)

My younger nephew was admitted yesterday

Gerald was admitted to KKH yesterday 11th Jan (Mon) afternoon. He was down with fever, cough with phlegm & flu. He's keep vomit after milk or porridge feed :(

Doctor said he had abit dehydration & kena virus. I think should be stomach virus bah.

Poor Gerald has to Intravenous (IV) drip :(

When I saw all these, it's bringing me back all the memory of Bernice when she was staying at KKH. I cried when I'm on my way back. Really felt sad & heart pain again to my little Bernice!

Let's back to my Cody boy condition. From what I heard from him cough yesterday. Lesser phlegm but still coughs alot & still has flu :(

My poor Cody

I feed Cody milk on Friday night. He coughs abit with phlegm. At first, I thought he was choked that's why cough.

Sat morning, he started to cough more & alot of phlegm :( Quickly after his breakfast, fed him medicine. Hope he will recovered fast.

I brought him out on that day. He started to have flu too! Sianz....

My mom, brother & younger nephew were sick too.

Hope everyone wills speedy recovery!

Flu bugs again

Yesterday after lunch, I started to have running nose & sore throat. I thought later after work take medicine will recovered but morning I wake up felt my body aches & flu seem not to be recover yet :( So I went to see doctor & rest at home.

Yesterday, when I reached home after work, found that my Cody boy also having running nose. Alamak..... Feed him medicine too. Today he also not recovered yet.

Tomorrow it's my birthday but I have to cancel all my appointment :(

I can't go to my friend Angela's baby full month & can't meet my best friend Eileen.

But it's ok la. Everyday is the same & Birthday also like that. No big deal right :P

Only I hope everyone is happy & healthy.

Flu bugs

I thought Cody had recovered from his flu but he started to have flu again, hmm.....

Yesterday, my parent in law brought him to see doctor. Doctor told my MIL that he have flu & dry throat. He gave my son two medicines (Cough & Flu).

Albert also started his flu again......

Hope both of them speedy recovery.

Everyone fall sick

Albert was having running nose on Monday 7th Sep. After few days, his flu still not recovers yet & started to cough. OMG :P

Friday 11th Sep, Albert brought Cody to see doctor due to his heat rashes on his neck. During evening after work, I saw Cody has flu too.

For me, I have flu & sore throat on Friday :(

Saturday, Cody started to cough a bit. Hope he won't `kena' cough, Sigh.....

Today, Albert had recovered from his flu only left cough & I still have a bit flu. Hope to recover soon!

Cody not feeling well

Today it's Saturday. My parent-in-law & sis-in-law are going to Taiwan for holiday with my 2nd brother-in-law's family. They will be going to airport today morning around 10am plus & will be back on Tuesday night.

Albert went to work early in the morning. Cody & I will be at home. Cody woke up very early this morning & refused to take a nap before his lunch. About 11.10am, I brought Cody with me to buy lunch. I was pushing him in his pram. When we are on our way back, I noticed that Cody already falls asleep....

I have no choice, let him continue to sleep. I quickly had my lunch & wash up the toilet :) Just in time I had finished everything & he woke up. Feed him lunch & wait for my friend Eileen & family to fetch us out.

They reached Bishan at 3pm. We intend to go Parkway Parade. On our way, Ethan keep accompany Cody (He keep playing with him). After awhile, Cody was so quite. I thought he maybe tired. He just sat on my legs, so I look forward to look at him. I smell he had passed motion (stool). I told Eileen that I need to change him. The next moment, you guess what happen? My son vomited. Not a bit but a lot lor because he just finish his porridge.

We reached West Mall car park. Eric needs to go there to do his work. So we will be there just for awhile. So I change Cody up & Eileen also helps me out. And also need to clean up Eric company car.

I told Eileen, Cody must be can't take it the car keep shaking & jumping, keke..... Eileen asked me to have the front seat. And Cody won't feel so giddy. Eric had done his work & we continue our journey to Parkway.

I gave Cody biscuit to distract him from giddiness. I keep asking him, are you ok? Suddenly he doesn't want the biscuit & want me to carry. Ai yo....... He vomited again! This time not only have to change him. I need to change too. He throws out a lot for 2nd times too!

Cody started to cry. The porridge not only came out from his mouth but his nose too! My poor little boy. I pat him & told him we are going to reach. And he have fall asleep at my shoulder.

The first thing we reached Parkway, we went to Giant supermarket to get a set of new clothes for myself. After that we went to the children nursery room to change Cody up than my turn :)

Finally everything settles down :)

Three boys really make us busy..... Hahaha.....

This time Eric did not drive so fast when send us back. Cody felt better & fall asleep.
